“The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” Proverbs 11:24 MSG

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10

Giving our tithes and offering to God is an act of worship. It is one way that we express our love to God and bring Him joy. Every gift given to God’s Kingdom honors the Lord and makes a difference.

Tithes and offerings are what God has chosen to establish His church on earth. Faithful giving commands a blessing over your life, and provides resources for God’s house.

Tithes support Freedom Life’s operational expenses while donations to the Freedom Life Foundation fund the local church, the global church and the future church.

For many, the idea of bringing the first 10% of our income to the church seems overwhelming. The thing is, it doesn’t matter how much or how little we make, God promises to pour out blessings on us when we tithe. Tithing is about training our heart to trust God at His Word.

Undeniably, people experience God’s blessings when they tithe, but often the first step is the hardest one to take. That’s why we created the 90 Day Tithe Challenge. If you are not presently tithing (giving the first 10% of your income) and are willing to make the commitment to faithfully tithe over the next 90 days, you are going to get a guarantee from Freedom Life! We commit to you that if you tithe for 90 days and God doesn’t hold true to His promises of blessings, we will refund 100% of your tithe.

This an incredible way to step out in faith and move toward all that God has for you! To qualify, sign up online for the 90 Day Tithe Challenge.

2022 is the Year of Faith!
We’re believing to raise $1.5 million for the Freedom Life Foundation.

Those who give can expect to receive quarterly statements detailing their giving records.

FAQs

What is a tithe?
Tithing means “a tenth.” Since the time of Abraham, people give the first 10% of their income back to God. Why?

  • We tithe out of gratitude for the past. “God, I realize that everything I’ve achieved up to this point, anything I have, all belongs to you anyway. I want to give 10% back to you as an act of gratefulness.”

  • We tithe to keep our priorities right in the present. Deuteronomy 14:23 says, “The purpose of tithing is to teach you to put God first” (TLB). It’s a reminder that God is really first in my life, and it helps me set my priorities.

  • We tithe as a statement of faith for the future. When I write out the check or give the money, I’m saying, “God, you’ve taken care of me in the past, so I trust you and I’m giving this to you as a demonstration of my faith that you will provide for me in the future.”

Should I tithe based on my pre-tax or after-tax income?
The most common view is that gross earnings are the amount of God's provision, and the tithe should be based on one-tenth of God's provision. Taxes are generally considered payment for the privileges and services provided by the government. Though Scripture doesn't use the terms "net" and "gross," it is important to note that the spirit in which we give is greatest value to God. He tells us in II Corinthians 9 that "each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

What if I don't have enough money to tithe?
Giving 10% of your income to the church can be a big -- and often frightening -- commitment! But if Scripture tells us to honor Him with our first fruits and our blessings will be overflowing, we must learn to trust that He is faithful to provide. God wants us to trust Him. Seek His guidance in how much you should give, and He will honor your faithfulness and obedience.

Why do you accept credit cards?
Used within the parameters for which they were originally created, debit and credit cards can be an efficient method for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using debit and credit cards. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt to utilize this option.

Can I give to a specific campus or ministry?
Every dollar given to Freedom Life is used to support the mission of Freedom Life; therefore, gifts are not restricted for use by a specific campus or ministry.
